Received 3 calls from this # 904-596-3002 within 5 minutes! Sr Officer Alan Jones left me a message to call him back a this # at Ext 301 - said he was calling from the Department of Law and Justice and that if I did not call him back right away, I was going to JAIL!!! I called back and left him a message that unless he can fax me something showing that this is legitimate, he better quit calling me or I am going to file harassment charges against him. Sr Officer Alan Jones has a HEAVY mid-eastern accent, and is VERY hard to understand. Pretty sure this is a scam!!!
I received 3 such phone calls from this number, but it showed up as "1911" on my caller ID. I also believe it is a scam and want to report it to the Florida authorities. The caller had a strong accent, so it was hard to undertstand. He was saying "Chris", but it sounded like Key-Reese, and the last name was Jenson or something. That is not my name nor the name of any of my friends. When I called "Officer Jenkins" back on the 904-596-3002, he was threatening and uncooperative and was saying someone was coming to "arrest" Mr. Jenson at 8pm. These calls came after 7pm. He even threaten me with "cooperating" with an illegal action if I was pretending Mr. Jenson wasn't there. I told him promptly- I know the PEOPLE I KNOW and Mr. Jenson was not one of them- they had the WRONG NUMBER! Let's all work together to get these aggressive and abusive debt collectors out of the business. Even though they are probably overseas and outside the U.S. jurisdiction, they are using a local/U.S. phone line for call backs and there must be some way we can get them with that. AGGRAVATED recipients of these tactics- UNITE! Let's stop this abuse!!! ML Franklin
I received a call from this number at 8pm. It showed up as 1911 and they left a message that I needed to call them back as soon as I got the message. If they did not hear from me by 930pm I would be in jail. When I called back I was told I had taken a payday loan out and that I had to pay 1265.00 by 930pm or there would be a police officer at my house to arrest me with in 30 minutes. I convinced him to give me until the next morning. I then in the morning called my attorney and when "Tom Ryan" called me to see if I was making my payment I asked him to call my attorney. He became very irate and started hollering at me. I told him that if they were a legimate company then give me the address of the business and name of company and call my attorney if they wanted payment. His last words to me were you wait and see what is going to happen to you.
People we need to stop these people. They are scamming way to many people and scaring the crap out of many. Who can we contact to get these people out of business? Please as ML Franklin said we need to unite and stop them.
