They have left several messages. One time I picked up the phone and pressed "one." She asked if I was calling to lower my interest rate. I asked which card she was calling about. She said they do VISA and MASTERCARD. I then asked, "But which of my cards are you calling me about specifically?" She hung up.
I have gotten several calls from this phone number 904-768-9653. When I answer the call the recorded message says "this is your last chance to lower your interest rate on your credit card. Press one to speak to a representative or two to let it expire". I've hung up, I pushed one and get a live person asking me which credit card are you wanting to lower your interest one, and I have told them to remove my phone number from their calling list and they hang up. I have received this call at least 6 times in the last couple months.
I tried to call the number right back and got a message that the number was disconnected.

Personal Data Systems or the Consumer Law Group is not a scam. How do I know?
Why don't you try looking at the better business bureau for southeast florida...seflorida.bbb.org you can look up the Consumer Law Group PA to find they have a positive rating with the BBB.
As for the "press 1" marketing, that form of marketing is not a scam, at least not until September of 2009.
PDS does not use the press 1 marketing but they do take calls from other companies that DO in fact implement press 1 marketing, such as "Credit Services"
So if you are looking to get your number removed, its pointless. Calling PDS is pointless because they are simply not calling you. Credit Services uses a service that calls you, and the simple fact remains they don't really report your phone number. Neither company actually calls you. Its a computer.
The Consumer Law Group does not advocate press 1 marketing. Anyone who takes 5 minutes of homework to do simple research can see its a solid company. Do your homework before you throw around " scam" people.
As for the people calling from Jacksonville, thats just another press 1 marketing company. There are hundreds of them out there.
