They called my work phone, stating that I could be eligible for a financial settlement. They are scammers and if they call my work phone again, I will turn them into the consumer protection agency.
They called my cell phone yesterday and my work phone today...stating same as above blah blah financial settlement. Don't know how they got my numbers but know it's a scam. I remarried 6 years ago and they asked for my previous name. Wish there was some way to stop these scammers!!!
Got a voicemail from this number claiming a settlement of a claim. Did not call it back since it figured it was a scam and now I see I was correct. Put a block on the number in the meantime. Hope people will not fall for this.
