I have been receiving calls from these people for TWO YEARS. They call my cell at least once a day, every single day and every time I have called back to have them remove the number THEY NEVER DO.
I have received numerous calls from this place as well, it is not even me that they want to talk to their recorded message asks for someone that has never resided at my address, but because they called so many times per day, I decided to research this company.
I found out that there are a collection agency. They are NOT a law firm. They are a dirtbag agency.
They identity was revealled on the National News last night......They harassessed a woman so much over an unpaid date, called her at her work, disclosed private information to her boss. This type of activity is unaccptable and a breach of privacy laws.....Apparently this lady got a lawyer and took the matter to court and now Natalie Law Firm is being sued.
So people, definitely if you get a call from this Agency, Ignore them, they are an unscrupuous company and don't deserve for you even to speack with them. Many collection agencies are like this, best thing to do is ignore them. If you have called id and don't recognize a number that is calling you, don't answer it, if it's important they'll leave a message. And if it's a collection agency, just ignore them, they are terrible companies and work off of commission. They buy old debts from banks and credit card companies and try to make money off of hardworking, unsuspecting members of the public. Don't give them the time of day......ignore them......these types of companies should be outlawed.
This number 905-413-8661 kept calling me around dinner time, leaving recorded messages, incurring long distance charge to me. Can CRTC do something about it.
I got some recorded message, said "you must call back by fi....Three tomorrow..." at which point I hung up.
They did not identify themselves in the message and simply said "we are calling about a time sensitive personal matter" don't say WHO they are calling for etc etc.
Most "proper" (I use that term excessively loosely) collection agencies will begin by asking for *whoever it is they want to badger*
I've had calls from this "Global" place before, the recording sounded quite similar but identified the company as Global and nothing else, at first I was like wth is the TV station doing a survey. I'm not sure if this is the same place.
