Several calls were received from this number with them stating that there were numerous errors coming through and they would walk us through how to fix them. Upon asking several questions about how they got the information and how we supposedly registered for their service, not one question was answered. I was passed off to another person who reported to be the supervisor and they would cut in and out when "answering" my questions. First they answered the phone with Hello and not a thank you for calling any type of business, they never asked who I was or any information about me. The only time asked who they were speaking to was when passed to the "Supervisor" and I refused to give information. After stating I did not hear their reply I was hung up on. The so called walk through process I'm sure was so they could get through the back doors and get access. Please be aware.
The individual called on an "unknown caller" number. He gave me his name as Peter Wilson with an ID of 0156. He wanted me to go into the events log and check for red or yellow flagged files. (note this is a normal occurrence in the events log) He was then to log into my computer to correct the errors caused on Microsoft Computers. This would allow him total access to all information on my computer. Personal information, Checking Accounts, Savings Accounts, Contact Lists or anything he wished. After asking why he called on an unknown caller line he gave me a number 908 219 7035. I was ask to call him back and ask for him by ID number. I looked the number up and it comes back to PC Solutions in NJ. They are located in Sussex County. Needless to say he got nothing from me, but beware they will have total access to your computer if you fall for this one.
An man with a fake Indian accent called to tell me my computer was infected.He stated his name was Neal Johnson. He told me he could prove that my computer was infected if I followed his instructions. I asked him for his company name and a callback number. He gave me the number 908-219-7035. I told him I would call back and ask for him, but he persisted that that wasn't necessary. I looked up this number on Google and found similar complaints.
Got a call from a male with an European Indian accent - said his name was Mack Adams and that my "Windows 7" computer was infected with malware, spyware etc and was sending out corrupted files and e-mails. Didn't provide him with any information - call had a bad smell about it, so I asked for a call back number - he gave 908-219-7035 - checked it out and BINGO scam!!!
