Voice Mail Message ( 26 seconds ) Richard Thomas 908-372-2640. He simply left his name and number, repeated the same, with no mention of the purpose of the call. Based on other posts, this is obviously a fishing / scam.
I got the same message from Richard Thomas (I'm in the 510 area), said to call him back at 908 372 2640, and left no details. I though it was work related so I called the number it rings and then goes dead.
What an irritating little prick. Definately something illeagal going on there.
Received a call 9/23/08 9:18CDT - just a brief message to call Richard Thomas at 908-372-2640. Area code 908 is out of New Brunswick, NJ. I don't know anybody up there - I'm in Houston, TX.
Here in Wisconsin, multiple people in our company received these same Richard Thomas phone messages, if we contacted him back he said it was a mis-dial and offered to take our phone #'s off the list, do NOT give your phone # back to him because clearly this is a scam. I called the FTC and filed a complaint, I suggest as many of you as possible do the same:
"Report all suspicious activity to the Federal Trade Commission by calling 1-877-FTC-HELP."
