I especally laugh at the attachments included in the email specifically the summons attachment. The background watermark says summons for jury service. Laughable and sad at the same time. Can anyone say scam?
I have the same issue. All this BS is that someone sold your SS #, get a good credit monitoring company Karma.com is great and keep track of your credit. They can do anything but file crazy paperwork and email it from a G mail account.
They hope that some poor soul will fall for it and make some type of payment arrangements. if you had done fraud you would know within your state... This is just BS.
Received a call this evening from a guy from some law firm. The gentleman had a thick accent and called me at a bad time.i asked him what did he want and why was he calling? He explained that he was from a law group and there're suing me? I said what are you talking about and how did he get my number? This guy said that they are suing me (didn't disclose why) and wanted my attorneys number! First of all, are you kidding me! Why would I give out that information without anything in writing!? I hung up on his butt!
