yes I got a call this morning said his name was Steve Martin babbled on about federal court action and wanted me to call that number. Your description of him sounded right. I have no intention in calling this fool back as you should not either.
I received a voice mail today from a man with an Indian or Pakistani accent He said he was from the U.S.Treasury Dept. and that his name is Steve Martin and his phone number is 908-552-4723. His call referred to an enforcement action executed by U.S. Treasury;that if I didn't respond to his call, I would be guilty of a federal crime and go to
prison.
Got the same call from Steve Martin. Other's in our household got a bit nervous with regard to the call because of it's threatening content. The call was placed to my land line so I returned the call using my cell. It was answered by a heavy accented individual who verbally gave me the same story that I somehow violated a federal law and I interrupted him saying that this was BS because the IRS never uses the phone for this type of action but only uses the mail. He said that an officer will be at my door in 45 minutes. We'll see what happens next.
