UPDATE I just called my cell phone provider. I explained that today alone, I just got 17 calls from different phone numbers, same scam, same everything and in the end, this is a big WIN for me, Yay!!!! Thing is, cell phone provider said that since I'm able to trace back all of these different numbers to the same www.healthcare.gov website then it's like a spider with all these different numbers coming to my cell from the same place. They said the only thing to do to stop it is for me to change my number. It's not a prank call, it's a scam and this scam is using numerous unlimited phone numbers that are coming from one main place. The reason it's a WIN for me is because I have an old Samsung Intensity 2 cell and now tonight when I can get over to my provider, I'm getting a brand new cell phone (a total upgrade for sure). Of course, a new cell number as well. This is a clean slate for me and I can't be happier so, thank you www.healthcare.gov for pushing me to finally getting a new number that I'm excited about and a new cell. I WIN / YOU LOSE. Best wishes to all of you that are suffering as I have just over the last 2 days. Since I've been writing this, I've gotten 3 more calls. By 9p.m. tonight, my cell will be peacefully quiet. Get smart and do the same. Don't let fool scammers mess with your day.
I missed two calls, called back thinking it was a friend from California... Since it's a California area code. When you call back it's a non working number. Don't answer it.
It's a fraudulent health insurance scam. Be cautious looking for health insurance on line. Do not give out any personal information especially a social security number. I was looking for health ins and called a number on the web site which connected me to these people who keep calling me from this number. If you can, block this number from your phone which is what I'm doing now.
The person asked about me looking for an insurance plan. Informed him I had insurance, then they just hung up. No goodbye, thank you, nothing. I tried to call back to inform them of the rude behavior, but the number was reported as not working.
