This number presented an Automated message asking me to wait for them to answer?  I DON'T THINK SO.
Write me a letter if you have something to say to me. OH YEAH, your trying to trick me into a verbal contract while off guard so, a letter can't help you without the verbal contract!

Always DEMAND the first and last name of whom you are speaking to over the phone. Get a return number to call them on and check that number. Have a recorder ready and call back. Then ask the first and last name again and tell them you are recording the call. That outta get them off your butt. If they persist, demand there address so you can sue them personally. If they do not divulge this, you are not bound to talk to anyone, you do not know.

It's Verizon Wireless.  Pay your bill on time, and they won't call you.  Derp.  

I wish I had a dollar for every person that comes into my VZW store and asks how they can block this mysterious phone number.  Morons.

i don't have any services with verizon--so your answer is just wrong. picked up the phone once [they've called 3xnow] and it began 'this is a service alert' at which point i hung up.

It's Verizon trying to collect on a bill. Too bad they are wasting their efforts. I do not suscribe to Verizon.
