Got a call 'informing me of a cancellation on my verizon account' and that it 'should be back to normal.' I played along and agreed, and they hung up. Guess I didn't give him a reason to ask for any personal information since all I said was 'okay.'
I just received the call. Screened it with answering machine as I was looking up the number here. It was my Verizon tech who had been working with me on an ongoing issue with my phone following up today. Not a spam caller.
CID was Not Available. It is actually a valid Verizon Customer Service number, this was the number that Verizon called us back on. For at least our call it was not a scam.
