I also received a similar call yesterday. It went something like this...Hi my name is Anita Roberts an investigator here from department of legal services. I have a citation and summons which needs your appearance. And the message goes on an on. So, I called to the number provided (Fisher and associates) from a landline and when, I call they automatically asume my last name was Mrs.Mora-Melchor...lol I have never, nor will I ever go by these last names. These two females answered... first, one by the name of Sarah and then Melony (the Manger in charge of running the scam)!!! Never call from your cell phone. They can obtain most of your information with one call. Be careful, these people made it sound legit.
I got the same call but mine was from a Mike something or another claiming he was a prosser and that if I don't call back asap he will come serve these very important court papers to my place of employment news flash bud I haven't worked in years if this was so legit they would know this
I got a call from this same number.Terrified me. Same thing,gives you a number to Fisher& Assoc. I asked them for the creditors phone number and was told I would have to work directly through them.They told me my case has already been given to a server. I said fine and hung up.still waiting to be served.
Keep on getting calls from 914-202-0065 in reference to litigation papers being filed against me. Well the calls continue with threats to come to my home or place of employment. I have reported them to the better business bureau.
They've been calling looking for the WRONG person and I said to remove the number ( as its a cold calling last dump collection agency ) they kept calling me the name of whom they're looking for as I then quoted the FDCPA. Fair debt collection practice act. (I worked for Wells Fargo collections out of high school 14 years ago) then she continued to call swear at me and call me jobless These rude uneducated losers attempt scare and threat tactics. All illegal.
