This number is a scam, claims to be from the us treasury department . I should not have to be receiving calls from these people on my personal cellphone.
Same thing, left a message with heavy accent and saying I'm off interest or whatever... Couldn't really understand her (on Memorial Day which I doubt any real federal employee would call today). Total scam. Not calling back.
Got a call every day this week, including Sunday, saying they are from Department of Legal Affairs regarding action against me and that if I could not call them back I needed my attorney. It was very apparent to me this was a scam, because it was so loud in the background with people talking each time they left a message, and it is the same person. It also seems evident that this is being done out of the country because he could barely speak english and talked very slow. Each time he leaves a voicemail, it is the exact same conversation without missing a beat, so it was obviously scripted. The whole thing made me google this and found out this is indeed a scam! I live in the west coast, and this comes from the 917-652-8604 number every time. Not sure how to tell them to step off!!!!!!!!
