I actually picked this one up, it was a Robocall letting me know that my student debt relief was flagged for a special promotional discount and to press 1 to talk to someone and 2 to decline the offer...... I have no student debt.
9:20am (CDT) - I've received calls from this number a couple of times, and I have it tagged to alert me. Never leaves a message. I might answer next time to see if it's a student loan call (which I have never had), and report, again, if so.
Robocall to verify Google listing. When I pressed 1 to speak to someone to get our number removed they asked if I was the business owner. When I said no they hung up on me. Do you know the reality of a business owner answering the phone? I get these Google verify calls every day from several different numbers.
if these are not being made by Google.. they really need to get involved in tracking down these folks.. I get this call from innumerable numbers including mobile numbers almost every day. I've begun to hate the name google. I bought call blocker services just to tamp this down... but it's a moving target that apparently has more numbers than anyone can keep with.
I also got the same response with the press one to speak to someone.... obviously the DO NOT CALL listing is worthless against such technologies.
