Anyway, I got the call as well. My guess is that it's the usual Fraternal Order of Police routine. Our local PD and Sheriff have both advised against giving these callers any money and to donate locally.
Expecting a call so I answered. Big silence followed by what sounded like a recording: "Hi, this is Ray." I hung up and blocked 'em. Caller ID said Venice FL
Ray seems to be a busy guy and does not understand the phrase... I am on a do not call list and never call this phone number again. HE HAS CALLED MANY TIMES
