called my home phone 6/3 at 11:57AM. A recorded message was left that my Microsoft computer was sending error messages and to press 1 to talk to Microsoft certified engineers. This is a scam they use by tricking you there is problems with your computer and they need to remote access your computer to fix it. But instead of fixing it, they are installing programs they can use to monitor your computer use and collect your personal information like your banking information, and your passwords for important places.
Received a phone call from this number stating that they were from Microsoft and they were calling to check on our computer; it was a pre-recorded message that asked to press one to speak with a representative. Easily got representative, male, had Indian/Middle East accent. and I asked to be placed on the "do not call list", representative immediately hung up. I am positive that this is a scam. Try to avoid picking up from this number if you can.
received recorded message that my computer is generating serious errors and warnings -to call them back to speak with one of their certified Micro Soft Engineers. Well they'll have a long wait!!!!
hello, your computer is generating some serious warnings; please press one to speak to an engineer. He said Microsoft at beginning or in middle as if he were from MS. I hung up.
