called my home phone 6/3 at 11:57AM. A recorded message was left that my Microsoft computer was sending error messages and to press 1 to talk to Microsoft certified engineers. This is a scam they use by tricking you there is problems with your computer and they need to remote access your computer to fix it. But instead of fixing it, they are installing programs they can use to monitor your computer use and collect your personal information like your banking information, and your passwords for important places.
As soon as I saw California number with 009 exchange, need it was bs! These dumb [***], if they weren't all coming out of the woodwork, they might just pull there bs off! Every day I receive at least 5 of these calls on cell and landline phone! Idiots!
Got a recorded call about problems with home computer. This is a scam as Microsoft never calls you. What these scam artists want is for you to give them Remote Access and they in turn will quietly install malware on your system. If you ever get a live person.... listen to their scripted message and when they want you in front of your computer tell them you already have your IPad in front of you. You will then hear..... click and a dial tone.
