called my home phone 6/3 at 11:57AM. A recorded message was left that my Microsoft computer was sending error messages and to press 1 to talk to Microsoft certified engineers. This is a scam they use by tricking you there is problems with your computer and they need to remote access your computer to fix it. But instead of fixing it, they are installing programs they can use to monitor your computer use and collect your personal information like your banking information, and your passwords for important places.
I got this call as well. They told me they were from Microsoft Windows and that my computer was generating some serious errors and that I needed to give them my computer id code so they can verify that everything is alright. I asked them to take me through the steps, which they did, and then they asked me to read them back my CLSID number, which I was happy to comply with. I asked them if they had paper and pen ready. They said yes. I then read them my CLSID number one letter at a time..... GOFUCKYOURSELF. There was silence on the other end of the line and I then told them that "I have a MAC you dousch bag. Stop trying to scam people and get a real job".
Answered and was told my computer was generating an error. When I said we have an apple not a Mac he wanted my husband. I told him to stop calling and hung up. He called back 2 more times starring the last call by asking if I was [***]. I let them know I was not offended and to get a real job. Wow those are some serious professors.
this is a scam to get into your hard drive they don't work for Microsoft. Told them I worked for Microsoft and I am reporting them to management the line went dead.
I just got the call now from 949 009 0301 just for giggles I pushed 1, some woman comes on and started asking me questions so I asked her what she was wearing...she hung up.....LMAO!
