I have several Cap one cards even if you do make payment arrangements or set up payments on line or HAVE THE PAYMENT go thru; they continue to have that B***** LInda call about her flippin' opportunities. I called just now and spoke to Mohammed who sounded like he was in India. I asked to speak with Linda & he hung up!
The amount of calls they place is ridiculous especially in this economy. I don't have anymore money for you at 10:15 am today than I did when you called at 8:37am.
I wonder if they are in trouble too and trying to unload a bunch of bad debt?!? They want to take the tax benefits for them for writing off debts. Which is fine; write it off but yes, if you get forgiven more than $600 you will be 1099'd --- but still...they are horrible about not stopping the overlimit fees, the interest amounts. I haven't spent a dime on my C1 card in 8 months and the balance because of their exhorbitant fees went from $495 to over $870! Stupid morons.
the call is from capital one . i do not have and account with them . i bought a new cell phone and the number belonged to some one else at one time i got a hold of capital one and thy said they would take care of the problem
