Lower your credit card interest. Asked what company he was with, but he never answered directly. Told him I was on the DNC, but he persisted. Wanted to know if I had over $3500 of credit debt. Didn't answer, as he never told me his company name... Asked if I was stupid for not taking this offer. Twice. Then hung up on me. LOL
Did not answer and then listened to the voicemail message. Got an offer to lower my interest rate to 6% -- total robo call and clearly a scam since I was supposed to press 1 to speak to a live operator and 2 to be removed from future offers. I blocked this #.
Pressing buttons will likely increase the number of calls just like this. The characters that work for these outfits are known to hang up if you to talk to them in an effort to get your number removed. I know this based on my own personal experience. One thing that has helped is a call blocker.
