Thought this would be interesting to some folks. I got this call this morning at 9:27 A.M; EASTERN STANDARD TIME---they're up EARLY @ 6:27 A.M on a SATURDAY MORNING in California to be calling the EAST COAST! Figured it was a MICKEY MOUSE S.0.B, trying to pull the wool over the eyes of honest people. Got a news flash for them all. I DON'T ANSWER NUMBERS I DON'T KNOW, INCLUDING MANY I DO! The message is fairly clear I think! I DON'T WANT TO BE BOTHERED. They all can take a flying leap straight to h3ll! Let them call again and it's going to be blocked. At this rate, I need to buy one of those boxes that houses millions of number. I've got only 20 with my phone service I can block--I'm already up to 9 and this one will make 10. HAPPY NEW YEAR, the $hit never ends!
Two calls back to back. Didn't answer either one. No voice mail left. Checked the number here instead. For those of you with a full bank of blocked calls and no more room, here's what I do.
In my I-phone I've added the scammer numbers under a contact titled SCAM 1. You can add about 20 numbers to each contact. When I can't add any more numbers to SCAM 1, I create SCAM 2 etc ... I'm up to SCAM 23 so far and it never seems to end. On a brighter note, when the phone rings and it says SCAM, I click ignore and move on.
