Same IRS SCAM threatening call recipient as others have noted. I do wish the landline and cell service vendors would exert effort to do what they can to ID the thugs responsible for these crimes targeted to old adults and others. We all need to continue to report these scams to FTC AND TREASURY DEPT on-line complaint sites.
This is the part of the voicemail that was recorded (robocall): "952-552-7703 don't Disregard this message and do return the call before we take any action against you goodbye and take care."
Don't worry, I will "take care." Now I am blocking you you scum scammer.
Left robot voice mail that they are with the IRS and if you don't return the call they will take action immediately. Robot is barely understandable. The IRS does not call people, all business is conducted via mail. Blocked the number. Total scam.
I just received the same call and called back cuz we got another call similar to this last week so I wanted to be sure this wasn't something serious. What a joke! He said this was the last day I could take care of it or else. HA!
