Same IRS SCAM threatening call recipient as others have noted. I do wish the landline and cell service vendors would exert effort to do what they can to ID the thugs responsible for these crimes targeted to old adults and others. We all need to continue to report these scams to FTC AND TREASURY DEPT on-line complaint sites.
This morning, I was awaken by a phone call from this number 951-552-7703. The robotic caller told me: "This is the internal revenue service calling you with an important and urgent message, do not disregard this.......and hang up" I called back and a man with an Indian Accent picked up. He asked if I had a Lawyer to represent me in Court because there is a warrant for my arrest, for tax audit and tax fraud on my tax returns from 2010-2015. He gave a file# and the amount owed to the IRS, and said the call was being recorded. I was so distraught as I was just awaken by this news. 2 to 4 minutes into my conversation with this clown, he changed the year of audit to 2009 - 2015. I then realized, he was a fake and immediately asked him to put the information in writing, and send me a letter. His response was: "the IRS does not send out letters to notify you of the Audit" and hang up. I was not about to let this go.
I called back, this time a different person answered: "IRS office" I asked him: are you kidding me? you have the guts to say that you are the IRS? and you are tormenting people with this bulls....He was so defensive and said"do you have proof to show that we are not the IRS" I told him that his Agency must stop harassing people, and bogusly target good citizens with such insane calls/or information. I threatened to report this agency to the IRS(REAL) and told the agent that if someone needed a Lawyer, it should be him and his Agency.
The 9515527703 need to be stopped before causing people to have heart attacks. The Internal Revenue must impose and implement a Law to protect hard working people from falling victims of such pranks. I am certain that anyone who has received a phone call from this Agency, has been shaken to the point of having a panic attack.

It seems too many people come here to complain, but ignore answers.
Too many people think a mere law will stop criminals.
Too many posters here seem to be unaware that there ARE laws against phone scams.
Too many people seem to want Big Brother to protect them, rather than learning how to protect themselves.
