"Unknown Number" calling a Maryland number, from California area code and exchange, claiming to raise money for the Maryland Democratic Party. Why donate to the Maryland Democratic Party if it's exporting its business (and jobs) to a California Call center.
On the second call today - no message left the first time - I did pick up, but did not say anything. Someone was asking for me, but mutilating the pronunciation of my name. I never said a word until the caller hung up and the phone went dead and then I hung up and checked the number's source and got to this.
I get a call daily from this number, I never answer calls from unfamilar numbers with area codes I don't recognise. Andyou should not either. Most of these calls are from unsolicited busineses or phone scamers hoping to catch someone off guard who is not aware of these s-o-b's trying to scare you to give up your personal information. If the call is legit, they will leave a message for you & then check it out first before calling back. These scammers will give you a hard time and most of them are hard to trace,, be careful people ,, stay safe...
