I recieve multiple calls form this caller each day, different numbers and each time I ask them to remove me from their call list. I receive a call from a new number, same company. I can barely hear them from all the noise in the background, plus english is not their first language. When I try to call the numbers back, they do not work because they are illegally piggy backed onto an IP address in the United States and the IP address is from another country.
SCAM! PC Wizards called about "malware" on my computer that was sending information from our PC "out over the internet". She wanted my husband to go to the computer and install some program to help him "remove" the "malware". The woman had a thick Indian accent, was very persistent. She gave my husband some identifying personal information (easily gotten through other methods)and told him our kids were downloading games that had malware attached. She said they have a contract with Microsoft to help clients with these "problems". Google PC Wizards for more information. This is a long-time scam.
Called today and wanted me to turn on my computer. So they could help me get rid of the bugs so my computer would run faster. I told her I was leaving and asked for a phone # so I could call her back. She gave me a different number than what was on the caller ID. When I called the number back a computer asks me for my card # SCAM...........
