These people are the biggest lowlife [***] on the planet. They have been calling me for 5 yrs regarding a debt I never owed. I called the original creditor 5 yrs ago and they told me they had no record I owed them anything. Thank God for my Call Blocker that hangs up on them after one ring. I can not send them a cease and desist letter since they do not send me anything in the mail regarding the debt. If they ever send me something in writing, I am going to sue them for extreme harassment.
My ID said "Unknown Name". If it's really Portfolio Recovery, it usually says so with a different number each time. They have been calling me since 2011 looking for someone else. I never did speak to them.
I hung up on this call after 2 rings when I saw the ID. It was the second unwanted call that day when I was expecting or hoping for a call from someone important I left a message for.
Sigh...my only consolation is that it's not just me getting these calls.
I called back the number & got an operator & asked what she wanted she said you called me, I said I'm returning your call what did you want? she said you called me I said I know I'm returning your call now what did you want? she said you called me I said I know, don't ever call me again got it? and she said I'm hanging up now, I said good. this is how you deal with these jerks, don't be scared of them.
