Do not ever give pay a unknown debt or give personal info over the phone. If you are worried about a warrant call the county and they will tell you over the phone. Tell them you will get a lawyer to contact them and ask for their info
I got the same exact call and when I asked for Susan Taylor, they placed me a brief hold and came back and said she had left for the day. A lady by the name of Melissa Davis said there is a warrant out for my arrest and if I don't pay $515.00 today by 5:00pm. Somehow they got my name as well. Is this even possible? When I listened to the voicemail, the lady said either my attorney or myself needs to call back asap.
I've gotten this call twice, stating that I have a warrant out for my arrest and is currently facing felony charges and the only way to get the charges dropped was to pay $1,500 right now. When I asked for the information regarding whom I owed this money to she said she can't tell me and the only way to find out any information was when I got arrested. Can this actually happen? I've checked my credit report and have no outstanding debts anyone company
They called me several times a day leaving the same VM... so today I decided to call them back... Vicki stated that I was being charged with 3 felony counts on Larceny, Check Fraud and something else... I asked what was her clients name.. she said some Cash Advance LLC or something... she told me my gmail is what I had used to collect the funds... I use my gmail only for google for my phone LOL... Plus I have never taken out a payday loan in my life... I called and harassed them back to back for about 10 minutes until a lady picked up and said.. Maam please dont call this line again LOL... I asked another lady when did I take out the loan.. she repeated my question back to me when I confirmed that that is what I am asking her... she stuttered and said... ask the judge when your court date comes... The sad part about it is that these females are AMERICANS!!!!
