Got a call threatening us they want money

I got a call- same number 970-238-3152. They want me or my attorney to call them back. I hope they hold their breath waiting for the return call :)

Received call and refused to say who they are calling for.  Just that it was 'me' but wouldn't give me my name.  Have had this number for 2 days as pre-pay phone.

Well I fell for it and have paid over eight hundred dollars to these people. On probation and the threat of more warrants freaked me out.
Can anyone tell me what I can do to try and get my money back??
