Who called from 9703769242

I got several calls from this number while I was traveling in Ireland in September.  One call was for 7 minutes and i have absolutely no idea who this was???  I called AT&T and they were very helpful and removed the charges from my bill.  I mentioned this thread so they would know I wasn't the only one

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. I just came back from Ireland in October and found over 57.00 in charges on my AT&T account. I googled the number and this website came up while I was on the phone with AT&T. Thankfully AT&T removed the charges from my bill after I told them about this website. Thanks for sharing.

I had 22 calls from this number when I was on a business trip in the Democratic Republic of Congo, January 2014. Total charges were $187.50 for 75 minutes. Coincidentally, I had 125 minutes to a blocked caller equaling $312.50. Never made those calls either. I was totally scammed on this trip. I have spoken with AT&T customer services and they are investigating my case. One would think that AT&T could do a better job alerting fraud calls from this number, which by the way is a nonworking number. Note to self, keep my phone in airplane mode unless I need to make a call when traveling out of the country.

I wanted to let you all know that AT&T did remove all the charges made on 970-376-9242 as well as the blocked number. Both numbers made an appearance on my March bill from my same trip. I called AT&T and they immediately credited my account.
All I can say now is THANK YOU AT&T!!

This number showed up on my bill after a trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo. 12 minutes for $30. This is the second time this has happened. The first time was in October on a similar trip to DRC. AT&T promptly removed the charge.
