I received a text from a 517-816-1040 (5178161040) number and the person is named Frank Bayer wanting to use paypal to buy a vehicle from me. It is obviously a fraud or a scam. Don't reply back to this person.
same story - responded right away to my ad, offered to pay full amount, sight unseen if I assured him he wouldn't be disappointed. gave me the name FRANK BAYER. said he was out of town for work. wish I had time to track this guy down and expose him on PrimeTime or 60 minutes . . . thank you to everyone else for posting. I knew it was too good to be true.
Same thing here. From Houston area. Responded immediately and wanted paypal info to transfer money. We isn't want to see it just be assured it was in good condition. Scam
