They are just one of the many ink and toner scammers out there. Just tell them you're under a contract with Canon/Xerox/HP etc and that you have a multifunction center. They'll never call you again. Good Luck!
The same thing happened to me. They promised to allow me to try the toner out to make sure that it outlasted what I would normally purchase from Staples. In the meantime they kept sending more cartridges and the invoice amount was going up and up!!! They wanted to charge 900.00 for ink!! We are a small business and if their cartridges last as long as they claim, then the printer would not last as long. I am now avoiding their calls, I explained that I agreed to buying 3, not more than that and they tried to send cartridges for a different printer we have. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! It is a scam!!
These people are super scammy. Called my work asking for printer model numbers -I was in the middle of a project and didn't have time to look that information up as we have about 20 printers and copiers. I kindly asked the man (Chris) for his e-mail and he told me he didn't have one. Then I asked him if he had a phone number I could call him back on with that info and he hung up on me! Very strange marketing technique! Glad I didn't give them any info as it seems they are scamming people.
This company is a complete scam! They call our offices and say they need the printer model so they can send our toner. They don't say they are selling you toner or what the price is. We have a deal with a supplier, but often staff will just give them the model number and move one not thinkng about the call. The toner will arrive and then an invoice that is 5 to 6 times market price a few weeks later after the toner is used. I told them they can sue me if they like, but I will never pay the invoice. It's a scam several other companies have pulled as well. Beware of telephone calls asking for printer or copier numbers - educate your employees to not respond to these request!
Same thing happened to our company. This company is a scam! Received a phone call today saying they will send us some gift cards first for the rest of our orders. I told the guy we have received all the cartridges and there shouldn't be any more cartridges coming in. They guy kept saying I have order 20 cartridge, but the truth is I only ordered 6! I told him no, I did not order that many cartridges. We were on the phone for over 15 minutes talking about this. He kept on forcing me take the rest of the cartridges and saying the minimum order is 20 and there is no way I can cancel the order. I kept saying "no, don't send me anymore cartridges, I have already paid for all 6 cartridges that were received" And finally, he agreed and said he will cancel the rest of the order. Evergreen printing supplies is the worst company I have ever come across. They put words in my mouth trying to force me to order more cartridges. I will never order anything from them. Worst company ever!
Glad I looked this up. These people have been hounding me for weeks to let them ship me 2 cartridges with an open 30 day invoice. They really are annoying. The caller I have been getting is Crystal. She is really pretty damn pushy. I will make sure next time they call to tell them NO!! Staples is fine with me. Evergreen did give me a price & it was higher than what I pay @ Staples for 2 cartridges for just 1 of theirs!! Thanks for the input about this Evergreen Printing!!!
