Ok, so at first I thought it was my Obachan ( Japanese grandmother) but then by what she said I knew it was not my Obacha. She ased for my mother by first name, my mom wasnt home. she asked "when will be the bast time to call?" I responded "I don't know." so she then replied with "Okay I will call back later."
Next time she calls I'm just going to answer it and begin speaking Japanese, that would mess her up SOO BAD hahaha.
PHONE SCAMS CORRECT THEY ARE !! CALL FROM 971-208-9936 ..... IS A SCAM AND DIFFERENT NUMBERS AS WELL!!!! DONT GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFO TO THEM CREDIT CARD DEBIT NOTHING AT ALL!! 971-208-9936 IS A SCAM PHONE NUMBER!!!!
I received a call from this number offering me FREE security system and asking if I have a security system. I asked tell me more andhe said they would install a FREE security system if I will allow them to advertise by putting a sign in my front yard. Obviously this was a likely attempt to mark my house with a sign so they could ROB IT!!!! DUH. I told the guy, he has a great phone voice and reads the script well enough to go into acting or radio. He said we'll call you later, I said TAKE ME off your list. He asked if I had an alarm system. I said yes.
I just got a call from this number and let my answering machine answer it, nothing was said and then a hang up. I D said it was Asa Pacific. Figures, more telemarketing. If I don't know a number I won't answer it. Just let them get the answering machine too. They usually don't call back but do have some very persistant ones. We do have a donot call on our number but they still seem to get through. Guess it needs to be updated. Also hate getting them on my cell phone too. Pisses my husband off royal when they call his too.
They call late in the evening during dinner time and on weekends too plus during the day, I wish they would stop calling.... and salisaters too.
