they've called 3 times in the last hour. Why would they call a Cdn # to ask about US political views? I think it's obvious they are just going down a list of #'s from all over Canada & the States.
Called the office after a hiatus of a couple weeks. (One day they literally called all 5 lines - but each time about 1 hour apart!) Usually I just pick up and hang up but today I picked up and didn't say anything, just listened. After about 30 seconds, they clicked off. At least I wasted a bit of their time. Same ol' same ol' I'm sure - a "survey" so as to skirt the DNC registry. And the "free cruise" is ANYthing but free. I think we're all wise to their ways by this time.
10:20am cst home phone was called, and now 11:50am cell phone was called. I am tell you, Funny how they could have gotten both my Magic Jack home phone number, and my ATT "pay as you go" prepaid cell phone number.
I firmly believe this is happening because somebody gave your phone numbers as a car loan reference, which Car loan companies are selling the numbers they get by way of references to 3rd party people.
These calls are coming from the company being sued by the state of Washington - anyway you can GOOGLE it. It's called the "Love Boat Scam". They're so dumb that they even call Canadian area codes...

They start off pretending it's a political survey but it's a useless scam pitch for a cruise. Just ignore them and hope the appropriate gov't in the US sues them out of existence.
And thank the stars for that brave Julia gal who started this site - she should get a Congressional Medal of Honur AND the Order of Canada medal!
