i know its ridiculous that i actually am one of these people that call people who NEVER requested information about furthering their education but yet that's what it says in the script. I ask if they applied online for a job. In which is not in the script because that's the most response i get from people. We are calling people who applied online for a job because during that process there is usually a little pop up window that comes up about furthering the education. I'm ASSUMING. I'm not sure that there's also fine print somewhere that the person submitting the online application for a job is giving permission for 3rd parties to call them. I hate it...IT IS FRUSTRATING...but hey it does pay the bills. I do my job when i can to rebut people and I sometimes get people to say yes to receiving free information about going to school. The information doesn't cost anything. And to the ones that think that "I have no money" excuse lets the telemarketer go...if they are doing their job...and they've been trained. There are some schools that won't cost anything to go. There is financial assistance. It is a lil frustrating when I rebut that and people still say not interested. I mean do people out there really not know there is financial assistance available and don't think there's a rebuttal for that when they tell telemarketers "I have no money?" I look forward to the answering machines because it makes my hourly job a lil bit more easier on me...lol...of course i'm not calling outside of usa...so im not associated with this phone number...there are quite a few other companies besides mine that calls regarding furthering their education.
i have been searching for jobs and thought maybe it was a call back from something i applied to. didnt answer as all the times they have called me were very early in the morning. they never leave a message and i never answer the calls either. after seeing this site, i am glad i never did. not sure how they got my number or what they want. but it is just down right annoying!
