I report this to both the do not call registry and the FCC.gov who has more clout regarding these type of calls. I am on the do not call list etc. I also am completely out of debt thanks to my husband's life insurance. He died. Why I am getting these calls I do not know. But I do know that once I started reporting them to the FCC.gov, and asked that they be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, most of them have stopped. Give it a try, perhaps our government will actually do something about this. Maybe even give Americans jobs to deal with this.
i found out that if you PRESS 1 U ARE GIVING THEM PERMISSION TO HOUND YOU and also, they know where you live etc... also they can harass you more. just hang up on them, or better yet if its a live person put a loud speaker on their ear and let it rip... do not hang up it will stop them from using their lines again... so remember these numbers are fraud

Our business receives multiple calls daily from this number. Caller ID says "SkipTel". Recorded message says "this is your last chance to take advantage of the government's financial stimulus". What a scam!
just got a call from 971-220-1944 about a credit card? I'm on the Do not call list and pay for this - why can't this kind of phone call be stopped? Am I just wasting my money? Very, very annoying, to say the least.
