I received a call from this number many times. This time it came through as Skip Tel. I had answered this call before just to see what they wanted. The man said he could get me less interest on my credit card. I said which one? Does this mean you can lower my interest on all of them? Wow I will give my credit card companies a call and tell them to call you so you can lower the interest....Thanks! The man hung up.This time when it came through as Skip Tel it was a recording on my voice mail telling me it was my last call to take advantage of this offer I should be so lucky.
Rec'd call during dinner--just let it ring, it kept up over 20 times until I simply picked up the phone and hung it up. I had to file backruptcy and if they were legit they would have known that!
calling from Gresham, Oregon saying "they can lower credit card interest rate. Last chance to take advantage of the offer" and related BS. When I hit one and got a live person they just hang up when you tell them you are on the DNC registry.
Doesn't the DNC registry have any teeth in it at all? do they ever act on complaints?
I too got calls...2 of them only a couple hours apart....971-220-1944, and 701-661-1003...was a pre-recorded message to lower my interest on my credit card, but didn't specify card...i just hungup
I have been on the National Do-Not-Call list since it was created, and the Florida Do-Not-Call list several years before that...
"Credit Card Services" called me twice in 2 days. First time I just hung up. Second time I pressed "1" and spoke to a rep. Rep informed me that they would take me off their call list. But he also said that several companies used the same auto-dialer and he could not take me off other companies' lists. He also said that I could expect calls from the other companies. Rep refused to let me speak to his supervisor.
Called the number back and got automated attendant. Only option was "press 1 to remove your number from our call list". When I pressed one I was informed it would take 72hrs to process my request.
I suggest everyone on the National Do-Not-Call list file a complaint when they receive a call from these idiots. https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx
