Got a call from a Kevin Williams then transferred to Mark Holman. Told me congratulations for something that I couldn't understand. They said something about me purchasing something from Walmart or Walgreens but I asked for a number to call them back at and they gave me 971-259-3458. I told them I would have someone call them back since the it should up on my cell as a private number.
I too got a call from this number, it hung up as soon as I picked up the phone.
I agree, reporting them is futile. Govt can't/won't do anything.
When I do get a person on the phone, I like to play the "HELLO" game.
I keep saying "Hello" they think I can't here them, they start their spiel, and I say "Hello" again.
Keep this up until they get so frustrated they hang up on me. On rare occasions, they will call back and we start the "Hello" game all over again... I get amusement out of it and aggravate them back as they constantly have to repeat themselves.
I got a call from "Jason" at GE home security offering a promotion on wireless home security. When I said I already have a home security system and asked him to take me off his list he immediately hung up.
I received a phone call from this GE Home Security company as well. It was the (971) area code and they explained that they were doing service in the area, ect. So after a few seconds I placed an air horn up to the phone and held it down for about 5 seconds. The guy was no longer on the phone...I haven't received a call back.
