I get numerous calls from these people. Never leave a message. I figure since the "Do Not Call Registry" is not doing their job, I will do something about it. When they call, whether it be these people or another telemarketer, I use my whoopie cushion fart machine and play it several times in the phone with all different types of toots. It may not stop them from calling, but I do have a lot of fun with it and laugh for quite awhile afterwards.
The numbers are "spoofed"...faked.......reporting them to the DNC list will result in nothing. The only satisfaction you may receive from these robocalls is the exercise of your right to free speech; unload on the [***]! I have discovered new ways to turn a verb into an adjective and noun all in one sentence!!! Make sure your kids aren't around to hear you!
The single best and ONLY thing you should do is never answer. Many of these calls are just phishing scams looking for "live" numbers using auto-dialers. They then sell lists of "live" numbers to other scammers and you get exponentially more calls. So, NEVER pick up!
