Callers are located in India and Pakistan.  US can't do anything and the local governments do little.  Call blocker's your best bet.  And don't pick up on call numbers you don't recognize.

Recorded message stating from the FTC. To call immediately name officer Brenda Scott or one of us would be arrested for tax fraud.  What a scam!!!

Got a call from the N.Y. number about filing a claim me by the U.S. Treasury and Brianna Scott and I would be arrested if I don't call them back.

Same automated call from Brianna Scott about a tax fraud filed against me and I will be arrested, blocked immediately

Same threats as all the other posts but used telephone number 631-573-1138.  It's a dangerous scam.  US Treasury (IRS) never calls you.  They always contact you by mail.  I've been advised do NOT respond to this call and give no one your personal info.
