This is an Irving, TX number, local for us. It is one of several numbers used by robo callers under the guise of the 972-253- area and prefix. The last four digits are randomly changed but the area and prefix remain. Our guess is that the genius behind this system wants us to think the calls are coming from friends and neighbors in our own city. Like all robo calls, a message is never left.
These numbers call and hang up when I answer. I get about 1 call per evening around 7:00 pm.

It's a scam for information about you!! Do not give them anything!! Block the number(s) from your phones and report them!! Other numbers they use are 972-253-6040 and 972-253-5102 with the ID as Irving, Texas!!
Teller-marketers/Scammers!! They have use these for years, just check all the 800 notes inputs!!
They called me and mentioned Mesquite unfortunate children. Wanted me to pay $40 to send kids to a movie. Told them I can't and the smart aleck woman said I can see that you really care about unfortunate kids and hung up. I tried to redial and got a fast busy. Wish they could be reported and shut down.
