I got these calls on my cell when we lived in WA. Then we moved to TX, changed cell #s, and I started getting the calls again over the last couple weeks. I called Onstar last night and the lady said she had no idea what I was talking about! She said she would look into it (we all know how well that goes over). I doubt they stop. I'm going to call my cell company and block the #.
I also got a call from this number this afternoon, and did not hear a fax tone, but an unintelligble voice which sounded like a male voice. I too, checked online and it indicated this was a land line in Plano, Texas.
Wife just told me she just got a call from this number. I called it and got a recorded message "This is a known working number for OnStar. To reach a customer service representative, please call (877) 805-9074 between the hours of 7:30AM and 11PM. I'm all for a CALS against OnStar because I'm so infuriated with their customer service, or should I say lack thereof. I've been trying to get my OnStar account straightened out for nearly 3 months but not getting any help ... they won't reply to e-mails, they didn't reply to letter I sent. So I sent letter to Chet Huber, CEO. We'll see if I get a reply to that one.
I started getting these calls from 972-372-1723 about 3 weeks ago after i got six calls in a hour and a half i called back got the 800 number voice recording and called no one was there because it was after hours so i went online and found one of there 24 hour customer support numbers and they told me the calls would stop in 48-72 hours all in all that first night i got 20 calls from them starting at 10:00 pm and finally ending at 3:00am they called me about once every 15 minutes. After that night i got no more calls until today starting at 8:00am so far i have got 7 calls called the 800 number to tell them it was happening again they said they would report it and that the calls would stop in 24 hours. Itold them the calls would stop now or i was calling a lawyer and would sue them for harassment the lady i was talking to quickly changed her tune and said the calls would stop immediately so i will wait and see.
