1050 a.m. caller asked for owner or co-owner. I stated that they were not available, but I'd be most happy to take a message. Then she said that she would call back, I said that would not be necessary ... then click! she hung up..
These guys did the same thing, wanted to talk to the owner or co-owner but wanted to make sure I wasn't being over charged by my bank and that one of there reps would be buy tomorrow. I teach martial arts for a living, I told him that it wouldn't be necessary to "drop" by, take us off the calling list and ALL solicitors are EJECTED from our studio as we have a no soliciting sign on the door. I sure hope they drop by! >:(
The female caller wanted to speak to a owner or co-owner. I asked, "Who's calling?" Her answer: Jordan. I asked, "What company are you with?" Her answer: CMG. I asked "What is CMG?" Her answer: We're a merchant. I asked "What are you selling?" Her answer: Nothing. We want to make an appointment. I say "You're not on my list so that tells me to request that you place us on your do not call list" and then I hang up on her.
I received a call today, 3-17-09. At 10:41 a.m. the caller asked for the owner. I said yes.
are you the owner. Yes, I am the owner. My company SMS, want to check to see if you are being over charged on your debt or credit card. What are you talking about? I asked. I am surprised by this conversation. We are sending a representive to your business address to check on any over charges. You can expect to see a representative around 1:30p.m. on
Thursday. Oh yes, you will need to have your bank statement on hand.
This lady was talking very fast. I didn't have time to ask any questions.
The more I thought of the conversation the more I recalled information given on business news concerning frauds or scams. I called the number back. The company was TransTech Co. Ispoke to no one.
