Calls have been coming in for 4 days now. I don't answer and they let it go to voicemail before hanging up. Pretty obnoxious. I am heading to my cell provider to see if there is a way to block the number.
Caller pretends to be your credit card servicing company asking to speak with the owner regarding "over charges". If you ask if it is a sales call, he matter-of-factly states "no, this is NOT a sales call". He insists on speaking with the owner. Do not give them any information as to your name or owner's name as they may use this info on a later call to fool you into thinking they are a company you already do business with.
They make sales calls. They are selling credit card processing services to merchants. They call because they think you might be a merchant. They want to send a salesperson into your business. I called them back and asked to be put on their "do not call" list. Mary the operator answered and politely explained the purpose of the company, and added me to their "do not call" list.
These clowns call nearly every day at all hours. Since I Googled this number, I simply don't pick it up. I went on the DO NOT CALL list and have re-regestered several times. They just don't give up!
I havd NEVER made a purchase as a result of a telemarketer call and I have had my own phone numbers for 35 years.
