I received a call today, 3-17-09. At 10:41 a.m. the caller asked for the owner. I said yes.
are you the owner. Yes, I am the owner. My company SMS, want to check to see if you are being over charged on your debt or credit card. What are you talking about? I asked. I am surprised by this conversation. We are sending a representive to your business address to check on any over charges. You can expect to see a representative around 1:30p.m. on
Thursday. Oh yes, you will need to have your bank statement on hand.
This lady was talking very fast. I didn't have time to ask any questions.
The more I thought of the conversation the more I recalled information given on business news concerning frauds or scams. I called the number back. The company was TransTech Co. Ispoke to no one.
Yep, got another call from them and laid down the law....Told the lady IF my number wasn't removed they would have a complaint filed to the State Attorney General office and also added to the Internet Phone Harassment Group.....

I tracked them down buy just punching the phone number in Internet Explorer and it links to this site....I have business associates and family there no time for "idiots" since I run my own business by myself......

Received another call from this company today. The first was back on Feb. 25, 2009. At that time I requested to be put on their do not call list. I made the same request again today. The caller was cordial and agreed. We'll see.
This is funny.
I called the number back a few times, just to annoy them. As you go through the phone tree, you know push 1 for this, push 2 for that.
I pushed 2 and got salesperson, gave him the same runaround as they give us. finally he says "well just don't answer" lol
Then I called and pressed 3, this is their recruiting number.
I then did the same thing, the lady was confused when I told her I was her
credit card company and was calling from Trans whatever their company is and she started laughing. Telling me that she was the recruiting service and asked me if I was new because I called in house. I then did the same speech they give when they call us. and she laughed and said you are calling in house, we both laughed and then hung up.
So, I was using my SKYPE phone so my number doesn't show up. SO, call them back at the number and press 3 for recruiting and see if they like it, also, try the others like SALES and talk to them, they will all try to transfer you to get you to their DO NOT CALL LIST but don't let them,
just call them back and do it again and ANNOY them for a change
Called, asked to speak to owner or co-owner. Informed them I was the manager. Sounded in a rush to get off the phone. I asked a name- Lisa was the only reply. I asked a business name and was angrily told there was NO MESSAGE and then was hung up on while I tryed to ask them what this call was concerning.
