Boiler room in background. Caller ID shows "BCC Research". "Sam" calling for one of our VP's (I knew who he was calling for, but wanted to give him a hard time due to hilariously mangled pronunciation of a common last name). When I asked what it was in regards to, I only (barely) understood "magazine" and the rest was lost in the translation! Sent him to never used VM. Methinks BCC Research should research the impact of hiring people who are barely fluent in English on their sales! LOL
So I checked the generic voicemail I sent this call to, and it is hilarious. Sam (and all the while you can hear other telemarketers talking and laughing loudly in the background) goes into a lengthy spiel for a Forklift ???? magazine. His English is so accented it is hard to understand exactly what he is saying. He ends the call by asking for a call back at: " 1 plus 972-448-4613" . I saved the VM so I can forward it around to co-workers for a laugh.
Received call and once I listened to the VM it was regarding a forecasting model for some type of cancer. Thick accent but was able to figure out what he was saying
