Yes, this is Chase. I told them I would call back, and indeed, after calling the number on back of my Credit Card, they verified that they had called asking about an issue with my Chase credit card. So, it is legitimate...but, the scammers can now spoof numbers, so I would always call back
Call was from Chase Consumer Fraud protection. Had THEM verify my account number and recent activity to authenticate before giving them any information. The call was to confirm receipt of a new credit card I received. Legit
This one was actually legitimate. I gave him no information so he advised to call the number on the back of the card that he was calling about. I did so and there were fraudulent charges on it. I also asked him to send me an email to the one registered for the card. He did so. Chase has a big presence in the Carrollton, TX (Dallas) area and he was calling about a Chase card. You need to pursue this one. I almost did not as I was out of the country and it was a pain to figure out how to contact them. My husband was state-side and took the call but he was not an authorized user on the card so they would not talk to him.
