Same as other reports. Called my mother in law. She fell for the scam, allowed them access to the computer, and now reports the computer runs slowly.I don't know what they did to her computer - investigating today. Does anyone know how to revoke their remote access?
Had someone named Jacqueline (Indian accent) call us saying the same thing about the computer generating an error message and warning messages. She said it was a sign that the computer had a virus and that it would crash. The call was taken by another woman that works in the same home office as I do. She does not work on the computers so she had no information to give to these people, but she wrote EVERYTHING this woman said down. The woman who called, Jacqueline, left this phone 972-591-8270. My poor co-worker thought it was real and tried to convince me that it was very important for me to call this number. I told her it was a scam and never did call the number. A week or so later, someone else (a man, same accent) called from a blocked number saying basically the same thing. I outright told him "This is a scam, I'm not falling for it, stop calling this number. I probably know more about computers than you do." and hung up.

Yes i do know about it, I subscribed to their services on December 2013 and paid this guys an amount of $299, I am happy with their services. There are other companies who are into scams but I am not sure if they are a scam too because whenever I call this guys, they do provide me services.
Neither Microsoft or their partners cold call people - they only call if you've called them first. They also do not "monitor" everyone's computers so they cannot possibly know if a computer is "sending error messages or viruses out". This is nothing more than a scam, and you are obviously another shill for them. Hurts that this site cuts into your profits, doesn't it? Good!
The people who use that phone number to call seem to change their company's name quite often.
If you were happy with their services,
* What is the REAL name of the company?
* What is their business address?
* What is their website address?
* Why could you not describe their "services"?
* How much are they paying you to shill for them?
Intelligent readers know that any unsolicited call, volunteering to "fix their computer", is a scam!
