Same thing. They called, I picked up, no one on line. Probably either a scam or political call since I am on the Do Not Call list and have already removed my number from most legitimate marketing firms that call for "charity"
They call, no one responds, then they hang up. I've received over 8 calls today. I called number and voice mail states "Thank you for calling the campaign office."
Might best recheck on the charity. Although they carry a do not call list, it is not required to be permanent and may resume after 90 days.....because, Charities are mostly temporary setups and with other petty reasoning.
Additionally, if a group calls you representing a charity and you ask them to stop, and they represent other charities also, they can call you right back for the next charity before you can get to the toilet for that needed break.. There's more interesting things like this prominently located with the FTC, DNC, and consumer sights.. They are entitled "www.stick it to Americans.com"
Holy cow. I just responded to a post that is over a year old.. I'M SORRY! I also eat popcorn in bed, phart in church, howl at the moon, chase diesel trucks and love facially challenged girls under 65. Actually that last one was a lie. Nice legs and I can do 80.

It's one of our beloved political friends testing the waters. Leaving messages yield zero results on surveys. I usually answer and lie to them and they stop calling.
