I got a robocall from this number, and they left voicemail that was nothing more than a robotic voice stating my name.
I /do/ live in Texas, but our insurance is with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois. Obviously they hand-off local stuff to the nearest office in some cases, and not others. There is not a BCBS office in every state, so you can be signed up across state lines, and these calls will also cross state lines. BCBS is constantly hounding me for signing up with some advocate, some educational service, or some other thing. They visit our office
Didn't answer the call it went to voice mail. It left my husband a reminder about a letter that was sent out to him about Diabetes and the importance of checking with his doctor to make sure it was being monitored correctly. We did receive this letter by mail and it was what this person said. It was not a robo call it did give a call back number if he wanted additional information the number is legit it was listed on his BCBS card.
Received call claimed Blue Cross. Pressed one and got a human. Wanted personal info so he could give me details of an offer. Hung up. Called my Blue Cross/Blue Shield Plan. According to them they do not call except to return an interrupted call and this call was not valid. They had no idea who it was from. They also had a record of this number calling BC/BS members in the past and not part of them. Complain to Blue Cross. Caller ID did show Blue Cross but so many spoofing programs can make a call look like it was from anyone.
I received a call from this number and didn't pick up. It left a voicemail of the robo dialer stating that this is US Bank and that me debit card has been locked and to press one to get to someone who can assist in unlocking it. Total scam, I have never had a US Bank debit card.
My call was preceded by a letter from BCBS informing me that I would receive a call. The call came 10 minutes ago and they did ask for me by name. I said I would talk to the rep but after being on hold about two minutes, call was disconnected. One way calling so I couldn't call back.
