Called and asked for owner by first name. Told me it was a business matter. Told me I could not help them as they could not disclose business information. Telemarketer!
These idiots keep calling after we've repeatedly asked them to stop calling. They keep asking for the owner of the business. We've told them to take us of their calling list and they said the only one who can request that is the owner of the business. He has made that request and yet they are still calling. If they want to keep calling that's fine we'll just keep reporting them to the National Do Not Call Registry.
Just received a solicitation call from Century Corporation. When I inquired why the female on the phone wanted to speak with the owner, she said "because of the sensitive nature, she couldn't discuss it with me." I am the property manager, nothing gets to the owner unless it goes through me, lol. When I told her I would need more information than that, she hung up. I called the number back, and after being transferred 3 times, found out that it was a surveillance company. I let the sales guy get all the way through his pitch, then informed him that the lady that called and hung up on me, ruined his sale.
Just had the 2nd call in 2 days from them. "April" with Sentry asked for my boss by first name. As there are 2 men in the office with the same first name, I asked which one, and she stated the Owner's last name. I informed her that he was not available & asked to take a message. She left her name & number, and stated "I'm calling him back regarding that business matter." I asked if he had called her previously. "No" So I asked when she'd previously spoken with him "I have notes in my system that someone spoke with him previously." I asked WHEN someone spoke with him. "Last week, I think, ummmm looks like the 22nd". I told her that I would pass the number along to him and if he is interested he will call back. The next time she calls, and tries to bluff her way past me, she will learn, in no uncertain terms WHY I am the GATEKEEPER for my boss!
